Understanding the PriceLabs Multi Calendar
The
Multi Calendar page allows you to
view and set pricing customizations and overrides, toggle sync on or off,
perform a manual sync, or save and refresh your listings. Using this page, you can perform most
actions from the Review Prices and Manage Listings page for multiple listings
at once, all from one place!
Read on to learn about the numbered tags in the
image:
- Bulk Actions: You can now Save and Refresh, Sync Now, and Apply Overrides to multiple listings simultaneously. All you have to do is tick the checkbox of the listings you want to modify, then select the action from the toolbar that will appear below.
- Header Row:
- Listing Name: Shows the name of the listing. This column is also adjustable so you can easily expand or contract the column.
- Tags: Unlike the Pricing Dashboard, the Tags section on the Multi Calendar allows you to easily add or remove tags from your listings. To learn more on managing your tags, check our guide here.
- Sync Prices & Last Synced: This toggle shows the current status of the property in the PriceLabs system. If the switch is ON and green, then we will update prices every night. Otherwise, if it's OFF and grayed out then PriceLabs will not change prices on this listing. It also includes the Sync Now button to push your rates to your channel or PMS immediately. Then below the buttons, it gives you an indication of when the listing was last updated and the status of your listing's sync. More on that here.
- Save & Refresh: This button allows you to reload the calendar band to see the changes you've made when setting up the Min Price, Base Price, and Max Price as well as applying Date-Specific Overrides.
- Algorithm Version: Allows you to see the current pricing algorithm being used for your listing. You can read more about HLP here.
- Customization Groups/Sub Groups: A useful feature if you have multiple properties. You can assign each listing to a group so that you can work on a group of properties in one session. You can read more about creating and managing groups here.
- BR Count: Displays the bedroom count of your listing.
- City: Displays the city where your listing is located at.
- Min Price, and Base Price: Base Price is the average nightly rate of your listing throughout the year. It is crucial that you set a base price as this will be the one of the important components for our algorithm to calculate your recommended prices. Min Price is the lowest price that you can set for a listing and our recommendations will never go below this value. (More details in setting these prices here.)
- Performance Metrics (Min Price hitting dates Next 60 days): This helps you stay more informed about how your listings are performing relative to the market easily ,and also helps in making adjustments to your settings. You can add more Performance metrics column by clicking on the Add Metrics button (#9). More details in this guide.
- Search Box: Gives you the option to easily look up a listing using the listing name or city. You can also search for group and subgroup names.
- Date Range Selection: The date selection on the Multi Calendar defaults to showing today through the 90 days (for example, in the screenshot above, the date goes from May 9th to August 7th). By clicking on the date range, you can select a different date range and even a longer period of time. With the default view only the next few days will show on the right, but you can continue to scroll to see farther out dates. Weekend days are highlighted to stand out on the calendar band. You can also extend the default date range up to 360 days. To do this, navigate to Account Settings > Advanced settings > MultiCalendar > Maximum Number of Days then choose your preferred default date range.
- Add 30 days to the range: This button allows you to add the next 30 days to the current dates from the calendar band view.
- Reset Calendar: If you selected a different date range in the Date Range Selection (4), or added a month or two more on your calendar band by clicking the Add 30 days to the range button (5), clicking the Reset Calendar button will restore the calendar view to the default date range.
- Copy to Min/Base/Max to Child: If ticked any changes to your parent listing's Min/Base/Max prices will automatically be copied to the child listings.
- Row/Column Visibility: Lets you control the visibility of columns and rows on your Multi Calendar. It helps keep your Multi Calendar data less cluttered, as you can only view the data you need. This also lets you choose whether to show or hide the Overrides and/or the Minimum Stay data from your calendar band. You can also hide/unhide performance metrics column through this option. (Watch Video)
- Listings Filter: This allows you to view the specific listings you need and adjust any current filters applied to your dashboard. For more details, check our guide here. (Watch Video)
- Add Metrics: Lets you add, replace or remove performance metrics columns from your Pricing Dashboard. Through this option, you select from 9 metrics, 10+ day ranges, and both past and future data are available. More details here. (Watch Video)
Total Occupancy for custom dates: This is an additional Metric for Multi Calendar view only. It allows you to view the Total Occupancy for the date range selected for the Multi Calendar.
- Map Listings: This button allows you to link similar listings together, such as listings from multiple channels or multi-units. (Watch Video)
- Full Screen: Gives you to view the multi calendar in full screen mode.
- Additional Settings: This section lets you choose whether to hide or show child listings, choose what the calendar colors mean, enhance color contrast, show or hide event indicators, highlight dates with overrides (this displays the group and account-level overrides on the calendar band), and copy the default prices you'll set on the Parent of your mapped listings. (Watch Video)
- Download CSV: This allows you to download a copy of your prices or all the columns that are selected along with the prices for the complete date range for all listings in you Multi Calendar. Result set can be all listings in the account (if no filter/search is applied) or it can be all listings satisfying the applied search/filter on the page.
- Tooltip: When you hover over the calendar, you can see a popup with the reasons why a price was recommended. In general, you'll see a demand factor and a supply estimate (in terms of occupancy rate in other vacation rentals), along with how rates are adjusted for seasonality and listing occupancy and any minimum or maximum pricing settings. (Learn more about these details here.)
NOTE: If you are accessing the Multi Calendar on a mobile device or tablet, and wish to check the tooltip, simply press and hold on to any date cell to open the tooltip.
- Context Menu: When you click on the 3 dots right beside your listing's name as shown, it will open a drop down which will allow you to perform/view multiple actions for the listing as shown below:
- Sync Now: Clicking on Sync now button will instantly push prices of the listing ahead to PMS/Booking channel.
- Save and Refresh: This will quickly display recent changes made in the settings and will show the updated availability.
- View Overrides: This will display all the overrides applicable on Listing/Group/Account level for the listing in a white panel.

- Events/Holidays: This cool feature now allows you to see Events, Holidays, and High-demand Dates in your hyperlocal market along with the Average Price set for each date. You can also report any event missing from the list! Read more here.
- Notes: This button allows you to add notes for your listings. (The button will be a red highlighted icon if it has an existing note present.) You can add multiple notes to your listing and set a reminder or pin the note. You can also view a list of all your notes by clicking "All Notes". For more information, please see: Notes
- Calendar Indicators: These indicators help you better understand the data displayed on your calendar. What the colors indicate depend on whether you opted to show the demand or the comparison with last year's prices.
