How to Integrate PriceLabs with Cloudbeds

When actively syncing with Cloudbeds, PriceLabs can send rates,  minimum stay requirements & Check-in/Check-Out restrictions to your listings for dates up to 540 days from today (for more on extending your pricing calendar see our article here)

Connecting Cloudbeds to PriceLabs from your PriceLabs account

Step 1: In order to connect your PriceLabs account to your Cloudbeds account, log in to your PriceLabs account, click on the "Add your listings" button on your PriceLabs dashboard, select 'Cloudbeds' from the drop down menu:

Step 2: Click on "Connect with Cloudbeds". You will then be redirected to Cloudbeds website for authorization. Login to your Cloudbeds account if you are not logged in already.

Step 3: You will be asked to authorize PriceLabs and connect either all properties or Connect specific properties in case you have a Cloudbeds group accounts (multiple properties). Once you authorize, you should then be redirected to PriceLabs and be able to review authorized properties and their prices. 

Since we do not fetch Bedroom count from Cloudbeds, you will need to manually set your listing's bedroom information on PriceLabs. Here's how: 

1. Navigate to Dynamic Pricing > Manage Listings
   
2. Click the pencil () icon under the BR Count column
   
3. Select the correct number of bedrooms, then click the check () button
   

Connecting Cloudbeds to PriceLabs from your Cloudbeds account

Step 1: Login to your Cloudbeds Account

Step 2: Select the Account icon to navigate to the Cloudbeds Marketplace:

Step 3: Open the Applications and Marketplace page and search PriceLabs: 

Step 4: Click on Connect APP.

Step 5:  You will be asked to authorize PriceLabs and connect either all properties or Connect specific properties in case you have a Cloudbeds group accounts (multiple properties). Once you authorize, you should then be redirected to PriceLabs and be able to review authorized properties and their prices. If you are not logged in your PriceLabs account, you will be redirected to our Sign in page. In case you don't have any account, click on Sign up link to create one. However, after Sign up you would have to complete the authorization again (#Step 4)

Kindly note that only base Rate Plans & all non derived rate plans can be updated by PriceLabs for all the Room types available. Also, rates will be updated for dates included in the rate plan intervals and no rates beyond the interval will be updated to Cloudbeds.

Make sure Base rates are defined for at least 365 dates from today for all room types in Cloudbeds where you want PriceLabs to send price recommendations. Also, we strongly recommend to Turn off 'ACTIVE FOR SOURCES/BOOKING ENGINE' against rate plan having no active interval.

Rate Plan Offset Adjustments

We can update Base Rate Plan & all non derived rate plans in Cloudbeds for all room types of a given property. Please note that we need to have a default rate plan for your Cloudbeds property. A default rate plan is the one for which you will see prices in your PriceLabs calendar for a given property. If you want to view the calendar for any other rate plan, you can change the default and view the same. The first time a property in imported, we will select the first rate plan as the default rate plan. Also, numeric rate IDs that you would see, will be the base rate set in your Cloudbeds account.

Dates which are not included in rate plan interval of default rate plan selected will be shown as Unavailable (greyed out) in your PriceLabs calendar.

You can always go to the "Rate Plan Customization" screen to change the default rate plan of your choice. To review your default rate plan and to specify an offset, head over to the “Edit" on the Rate Plan Customization link in PriceLabs.

Refer below screen, where you can select a different default rate plan. You can also specify the adjustment as a fixed amount or a percentage amount to be applied to the rate plans. It has 3 options in the 'Update Type': the "Price and Restrictions" updates both Price and restrictions to the rate plan, the "Price" updates only the daily price, and the "None" skips that rate plan entirely.

Please note, that even though Cloudbeds integration does not support a LOS (Length of Stay) adjustment via PriceLabs, you can achieve a similar effect using the aforementioned Rate plan adjustment.

How to disconnect the connection between PriceLabs and Cloudbeds

If you don't want PriceLabs to update prices to CloudBeds, you can either Turn off the sync toggle or can delete the listing from your account. Refer this article for same.

Alternatively, you can disconnect from within the Cloudbeds PMS.
