Top Listings Insights benchmarks your Airbnb listing against nearby top-performing listings with similar attributes such as location, property type, and size. It helps you understand how your listing compares in terms of content quality, presentation, and amenities, and highlights specific, actionable improvements you can make to align with—or exceed—top listings in visibility and booking potential.

This view draws directly from Airbnb data, comparing your listing’s scores, images, amenities, and reviews with those of top competitors in your area.

How Top Performers Are Chosen

Competitors are automatically selected using your listing’s location, bedroom count, and review activity. The system identifies nearby listings that meet these criteria:

  1. Active for at least 70 days in the past 3 months.
  2. Have a similar number of bedrooms (±1).
  3. Have at least 10 reviews.
  4. Ranked among the top listings by top revenue.

This ensures that the comparisons you see are meaningful and reflect your true competitive landscape.

What’s Working Well



This section highlights where your listing already outperforms competitors. It compares your scores across multiple dimensions and calls out specific strengths you should continue to leverage.

Examples:
  1. “Your Description Score (B) is better than Double Room Suite Bay View 2BD/3BTH Fontainebleau (C) and Gorgeous Tresor 2 Bedroom (C).”
  2. “Your Image Score (A) is significantly better than competitors in your area.”
These insights help you understand what’s resonating with guests and driving visibility for your listing.

What Top Performers Are Doing Well?


This section identifies areas where competitor listings outperform yours. It highlights competitive gaps you can close to strengthen your ranking and conversion potential.
Examples:
  1. “Your listing does not offer a Pool, Hot Tub, or Gym, which appear in nearby listings like Fontainebleau 2 Bedroom Bay View.”

These findings provide specific, data-backed targets for improvement.

Comparison Table


  1. The comparison table provides a side-by-side score view of your listing and its top competitors.
  2. Each column represents a key listing component that affects quality and visibility.
  3. Color-coded grades (A–D) make it easy to spot your strengths and weaknesses at a glance.
