Multi-unit listings refer to properties with the same category or room type located in the same area. Mapping them together in PriceLabs ensures rate parity, allows centralized pricing management, and provides cost benefits.
Before You Start
- When mapping multi-unit properties, the listings must:
- be in the same location (e.g., multiple apartments in the same building).
- use the same prices and the same currency to be mapped successfully.
- Mapping is used to ensure parity between similar listings. This is used to copy the set up from the parent listing to the child listing. If the listings to be mapped have different prices/customizations/setups, mapping is not recommended.
- If a parent listing sync is turned off and child listing sync is on, then child listing will be treated as Parent listing and will be charged accordingly.
- This feature is available upon request and by default, you can map up to four child listings. If you want to enable it for your account or you have a property with more that four similar listings, please reach out to support@pricelabs.co.
Benefits of Mapping Multi-Unit Listings
- Ensures Rate Parity:
- Ideal for managing multiple units in the same building.
- Ensures all units maintain the same rates and updates.
- Simplifies Pricing Management: Adjusting prices or customizations at the parent level updates all child listings.
- Reduces Billing Rates: Mapped listings are eligible for lower pricing. Child listings in Same PMS Mapping are charged $5/month per child listing (22.5BRL/month per child listing for Brazil).
