Multi-unit Mapping

What is a Multi-unit?

Multi-units are properties with the same category or room type located in the same area. PriceLabs allows mapping these listings together under two conditions:
  1. Listings must share the same location (e.g., multiple apartments in the same building).
  2. Listings must use the use the same prices

Benefits of Mapping Listings

  1. Ensures rate parity between listings.
  2. Enables applying minimum, base, and maximum prices, along with customizations and overrides, from a parent listing to all child listings.
  3. Offers reduced billing rates for mapped listings.
  4.

Mapping Multi-unit Listings

Parent and Child Listings

Before we start mapping, it would be helpful to know the difference between a parent and a child listing:
  1. Parent listing is your main listing on one portal and will be the primary listing when using PriceLabs.
  2. Child listing is a copy of the parent listing on other portals.
By default, you can map up to 4 child listings. If you need to map more than 5 multi-units, let us know, and we can increase your maximum child listings.

Same PMS mapping

The Same PMS Mapping feature allows you to group similar listings managed under the same channel or PMS. For example:

If you manage a building with multiple similar apartments that are listed individually, you can use Same PMS Mapping to:

  • Map these apartments together under one parent listing.
  • Ensure that all units maintain the same rates and updates, simplifying your pricing management.
For Same-PMS mapping, the child listings will be charged $5/month/child listing. You can check the detailed information on pricing here. Additionally, this feature is only available on request. Email us at support@pricelabs.co for assistance.

Managing Rate Parity

Rate parity is ensured by automatically applying the base, minimum, and maximum prices, along with listing-level customizations and override settings, from the parent listing to the child listings.
  1. To adjust base, min, or max prices: Click the Review Prices button for the parent listing and on the left panel, next to the calendar, you will see an option to copy prices to the child listing.

  1. To adjust customizations for both listings: Simply set the customization on the parent listing and you will see the option to copy the same settings to the child listing. If the "Save Changes" button is clicked while this box is ticked then all customizations set for this listing will copy from the parent to the child listing

  1. To copy over custom price changes/date-specific overrides: Set the custom prices on the parent listing and you will see the option to copy the custom prices to the child listing.

Note: All of the copy checkboxes shown above are checked by default.
