When successfully syncing with iGMS, PriceLabs can send dynamic rates and minimum stay requirements for your listings for dates up to 540 days from today (see our article here on extending your pricing calendar beyond that point). Importing iGMS listings in PriceLabs
Before connecting your iGMS, please take note of the following:
- We recommend you to 'merge' the same-property listings in iGMS. You should have in Pricelabs one listing per property (and not one listing for each channel your iGMS account is connected with).
- Make sure to set the Base Rate of your listings on iGMS
- Listings under 1 account in iGMS cannot be split into multiple PriceLabs accounts
Step 1: To import your iGMS listings into PriceLabs, start by clicking the "Add your listings" button (if you don't have any listings yet) or "Add/Reconnect Listings" (if you have listings on your PriceLabs account already) on your PriceLabs dashboard, select "PMS / Channel Manager" and search for iGMS from the drop-down. Then click to "Connect with iGMS".
Step 2: After clicking the connect button, you'll be taken to iGMS login page. Log in to your account and approve the connection to PriceLabs by clicking "Allow".
Step 3: Once you click to allow PriceLabs to access your iGMS account, you'll be taken back to PriceLabs where you'll see a success notification and your iGMS listings will appear on your PriceLabs dashboard!
Step 4: Now go to iGMS account and enable PriceLabs access to each of your properties. Select "Properties" from the main menu, click to edit a property, then select PriceLabs in the "Pricing" section. Your PriceLabs rates will not appear on iGMS if you select " Do not use" option.
Step 5: Once PriceLabs is enabled to send rates to each property, and you're satisfied with your rates you can turn the Sync Prices on and wait for our regular nightly sync or use the "Sync Now" button to sync prices immediately.
When a successful sync has happened, you will see your PriceLabs rates and minimum stay requirements in iGMS Multi-calendar
Important Note:
If rates are manually updated from the iGMS booking calendar, then the PriceLabs toggle will automatically turn off for that specific date and it will no longer update in the next sync.
If you'd like to go back to syncing the rates from PriceLabs again, you'd have to turn on the toggle from iGMS for the dates affected.
Common iGMS connection issues
Location errors for iGMS properties
Location of a listing is maintained in iGMS and PriceLabs just pulls this information from the PMS. Here is an article from iGMS help center on how to set-up location information. Once you have set up the address in iGMS - you'll have to click “add your listings” in PriceLabs again, so that we can get the right location for the listing. This will not duplicate the listings, but we'll just get the most up-to-date details.
Merged listing error
e.g. iGMS message: “Property f79e7f23-d626-4a..... has been merged into 1139094692086...... Please re-sync the list of user's properties”—this error is received when there is a new platform or connection added in iGMS and hence the listing ID gets changed. This could also happen whenever you modify the listings in iGMS.
To resolve this, you will have to:
- Reconnect account using "Add/Reconnect Listings" button
- Map new listing (which is imported) as child to the old existing listing (to ensure the settings from the old listing are copied to the new listing)
- Un-map your listings now that the settings are up-to-date
- Turn “Sync Prices” toggle off for old listing and turn sync on for new listing.
- You can delete the old listings following these steps: How to Remove a Listing from Your PriceLabs Dashboard
Incorrect Bedroom Count
To make sure that the correct bedroom count is reflected on PriceLabs, it's necessary to have Airbnb listing (not VRBO or booking.com) as the head of the property group on iGMS.
