How to Integrate PriceLabs with NewBook

PriceLabs can send daily rates, minimum stay requirements, and extra person fees to NewBook for up to 540 days in advance.

Step 1: Prepare Your NewBook Account

  1. Contact Newbook Support at support@newbook.cloud to request a connection to PriceLabs. The team will send you your Newbook API key.
  2. Once you have your API Key, log in to your Newbook account.
  3. Activate PriceLabs in Newbook
    1. Navigate to Menu → Administration →Newbook Administration → 3rd Party Booking Channels


    2. Locate and click on PriceLabs
    3. Fill out the Incoming Booking Details section


  4. Map Categories & Rate Types
    1. Under the PriceLabs Mapping section, enter a number in the RateCode boxes for each Category Code and Rate Code.
      1. Category Codes must match the Category ID in NewBook.
      2. Rate Codes should be mapped with the word ‘pricelabs’. Only map your Master Rate.
      3. Make sure your RoomCode contains only letters and numbers without any spaces or special characters.


    2. Leave Category Codes blank for any listings you do not wish to map.
    3. Click Save

Step 2: Connecting NewBook to PriceLabs

  1. Log into PriceLabs.
  2. Click "Add your listings" (if you have no listings) or "Add/Reconnect Listings" (if you already have listings).
  3. Select "PMS / Channel Manager" and choose "NewBook" from the dropdown.
  4. Enter your Newbook API Key and click Connect


  5. Once connected, your NewBook listings will appear in your PriceLabs dashboard

Step 3: Reviewing & Syncing Prices

  1. Follow the Getting Started guide to set up your listings.
  2. Review your pricing and settings in PriceLabs.
  3. Enable Sync Prices for automatic updates, or click "Sync Now" to push updates immediately.
  4. Check your NewBook account to verify updates
    1. Your PriceLabs rates will appear in bold text on the Rates Chart
    2. To view the minimum stay requirements, hover over any date

Troubleshooting Common Issues

NewBook Location Errors

Set up the location coordinates for your property in NewBook:
  1. From your Menu Search type Sites.
  2. Locate and Select the required Site 
  3. From the Top Navigation Bar select Edit Apartment/Site 

  4. Select the Address Information Tab
  5. In the Address Lookup Bar type the Site Address and select from the Dropdown Box

  6. From the Top Navigation Bar select Save ​
