How to Integrate PriceLabs with Octorate

Connecting PriceLabs to Octorate

When successfully syncing, PriceLabs will send rates and minimum stay requirements to single and multi-unit Octorate listings for 540 days from today (see our article here on extending your pricing calendar beyond one year).

Before a connection is made you must first send an email to tech@octorate.com to enable your account for PriceLabs API access. When you get the confirmation that your account has been enabled for PriceLabs access follow these simple steps to integrate your two accounts:
Notes
Note: For users with PriceLabs UID > 205121, we are using a different authentication method - OAuth.

Step 1. Fetch your Octorate email and Hotel ID from your Accommodation Settings page.

Step 2.  Log in to your PriceLabs account and click the  " + Add/Reconnect Listings" button on your dashboard. Select Octorate from the drop down, and enter your email and Hotel ID in the spaces provided then click "Connect".

Step 3. Your Octorate listings will now be imported to PriceLabs. Since we do not fetch Bedroom count from Octorate, you will need to manually set your listing's bedroom information on PriceLabs. Here's how:
  1. Navigate to Dynamic Pricing > Manage Listings
  2. Click the pencil () icon under the BR Count column
  3. Select the correct number of bedrooms, then click the check () button

That's it! You're now good to go and follow instructions in our on-boarding guide to start reviewing prices. When you're ready you can toggle on the sync switch and your rates will update automatically during our next regular nightly sync, or you can click the "Sync Now!" button to update your Octorate listings immediately.

Octorate Location Errors

If you're having trouble setting your listing location, or getting lat-long errors on your PriceLabs dashboard, you can re-set your listing location as in the example below:

Once this is done, please use the "Add your listings" button  on your PriceLabs dashboard, and enter your email address and Hotel ID to import the new location information to your PriceLabs account.
