Market Dashboard: How to create and view Custom Compsets

How to Create a Custom Comp Set

Step 1: Filter the Compset -- Filtering the compset allows you to fine tune your market dashboard based on your specific criteria. First, go to Create Comp Set Tab and use any of these 3 methods to filter the compset:  
  1. Map - The listings that are fetched in the dashboard are shown in the map and are represented by green and red dots. Use the Box Select () or the Lasso Select () tool to draw and cover specific areas on the map, and listings within the selected area are the only ones that will be included in the comp set. 

  2. Filter Listings Button - Click on Filter Listings button to access more advanced filtering options. This section lets you filter the compset through a list of predefined criteria.



  3. First row of the table - Use the first row of the table to filter listings. Make use of comparison operators such as = (equals), > (greater than), >= (greater than or equal to), < (less than), <= (less than or equal to), and contains to filter numerical and text data in the table.

    4. Here's a guide on how you can filter data:
    1. = (equals), > (greater than), >= (greater than or equal to), < (less than), <= (less than or equal to), and contains are supported by all data types (numeric, text, datetime, and any)
    2. With contains, the right-hand-side needs to be a string, so {Date} contains "01" will work but {Date} contains 1 will not
    3. datestartswith is supported by datetime
    4. is null is supported by all data types
    5. is blank is supported by all data types

      Filtering Syntax provides the complete set of options for filtering text and numeric columns
Step 2: Select the listings to include into the Comp Set --  Use the Select All and Select Page buttons to choose which listings are to be included in the compset. Check or uncheck the checkboxes next to the listing name to individually select or deselect listings. 


Step 3: Enter the name of the Comp Set and click on Generate Comp Set button. 

How to Edit or Delete a Comp Set

  1. Go to the Listings & Comp Sets section in the Market Dashboard. 
  2. Go to the Comp Sets tab and you will see the list of all the compsets. 
  3. Click the Pencil icon () to Edit the Comp Set, and click the Trash bin icon () to delete it. 

How to View a Comp Set

By viewing a Comp Set, all graphs and charts in your dashboard will be refreshed and regenerated based on the selected compset. 
  1. Click on the "View Comp Sets" Dropdown box located at the top-left corner of the Market Dashboard page. 
  2. Select your preferred compset from the list.
  3. Click the Apply Filter button.
