Step 3: Reviewing & Syncing Prices

1. Follow the Getting Started guide to set up your listings.
   
2. Review your pricing and settings in PriceLabs.
3. Enable Sync Prices for automatic updates, or click "Sync Now" to push updates immediately.
4. Check your rezStream account to verify updates
   

Rate Plan Offset Adjustments

Changing and Reviewing the Default Rate Plan

1. Access your listing's Pricing Calendar
   
2. On the right-side panel, locate "Rate Plan Customization" and click the "eye" icon to access the customization screen
   
   
   
   
3. In the customization screen, you can select a different default rate plan and apply adjustments. These adjustments can be set as a fixed amount or percentage to the rate plans. There are 3 options under 'Update Type':
   • Price and Restrictions: Updates both the price and restrictions for the rate plan.
   • Price: Updates only the daily price.
   • None: Skips the rate plan entirely.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. Click "Save Rate Plans" to save and apply your changes.

Kindly note that the price updates for your room types might take a few minutes based on the number of active rate plans which are enabled to receive updates from PriceLabs. 

Special Scenarios:

⚠️ Unit Type Mapping Across Multiple Properties

In certain cases, a unit type may include units that belong to different properties. Since PriceLabs expects each unit type to map cleanly to a single property, this can create inconsistencies during import. 

What happens in such cases?

• If a unit type contains one or more units from a different property, the unit type will not be imported and is considered as a split set up.
• You will see an error message (refer to the screenshot below), and the import will be blocked for that unit type.                                                                                                                                                     

👉 In this scenario, please reach out to our support team. We can review your account and add a backend exception to allow this split set up.

Once the exception is applied, you will be able to successfully import the affected unit type.

Special Handling: Majority-Based Mapping

• If most units within a unit type belong to a single property, we will assign all units in that unit type to that property.

Example:

• Unit Type A has 3 units:
  • 2 units belong to Hotel 1
  • 1 unit belongs to Hotel 2

✅ In this case, all 3 units will be mapped to Hotel 1 (majority property).

⚠️ Changes After Import (Reconfiguration of Units Across Properties)

If a unit type has already been successfully imported into PriceLabs, and later changes are made in rezStream that affect property mapping, this can lead to inconsistencies, if the split set up is not enabled for your account. 

This is because the unit type has already been created and synced in PriceLabs, and changes to its underlying structure in rezStream are not re-evaluated automatically.

What should you do?

To reflect the updated configuration correctly, reach out to PriceLabs Support to enable split set up. After the set up is enabled, you will be able to review the prices for the concerned listings.

Important Notes

• If a unit within an already imported unit type is reassigned to a different property (e.g., moved from Hotel 1 to Hotel 2), and this change would alter the majority property mapping, PriceLabs will not automatically update the existing unit type mapping. This behavior is designed to maintain consistency in pricing and synchronization.

• If your setup frequently includes shared unit types across properties, we recommend reviewing your configuration or contacting support for guidance.
