How to Integrate PriceLabs with Ciaobooking

When actively syncing with Ciaobooking, PriceLabs can send rates, minimum stays and check-in/check-out restrictions to your listings for dates up to 540 days from today (for more on extending your pricing calendar see our article here)

Connecting Ciaobooking to PriceLabs 

Step 1: In order to connect your PriceLabs account to your Ciaobooking account, log in to your PriceLabs account, click on the "Add your listings" button on your PriceLabs dashboard, select 'Ciaobooking' from the drop down menu:

Step 2: Creating a role for PriceLabs: Login to your Cioabooking account and go to Users page and click on 'Add'

Step 3: Create a new User for PriceLabs.

1. You can use email as 'your-domain@pricelabs.co' 
   
2. Turn Active toggle ON
   
3. Select the properties you want to import in PriceLabs. 'Select All' in case you want to import all.

1. In the API section, Assign role 'API- RMS Tools' or 'API - RMS Terze Parti'  and click on 'Create'

Step 4: Use Email and Password created in step #3 while connecting in PriceLabs and Click on "Connect"

Each unit category type will be imported as a listing in PriceLabs, with the unit count representing the number of units attached to the unit category type

Rate Plan Offset Adjustments

We can update all rate plans in Ciaobooking for all unit category types. Please note that we need to have a default rate plan for your Ciaobooking property. A default rate plan is the one for which you will see prices in your PriceLabs calendar for a given property. If you want to view the calendar for any other rate plan, you can change the default and view the same. The first time a property in imported, we will select the first rate plan as the default rate plan.

You can always go to the "Rate Plan Customization" screen to change the default rate plan of your choice. To review your default rate plan and to specify an offset, head over to the “Edit" on the Rate Plan Customization link in PriceLabs.

Refer below screen, where you can select a different default rate plan. You can also specify the adjustment as a fixed amount or a percentage amount to be applied to the rate plans. It has 3 options in the 'Update Type': the "Price and Restrictions" updates both Price and restrictions to the rate plan, the "Price" updates only the daily price, and the "None" skips that rate plan entirely.

Kindly note that all rate plans, including linked ones, will be imported into PriceLabs. However, if there's a linked rate plan, then prices and restrictions will be derived from the Parent plan, even if prices are being pushed by PriceLabs. For example, in the screenshot below, the price and restrictions for the rate plan 'AptR NR x2' will be from 'AptR RC x2,' even if you see a successful sync from PriceLabs for both plans

                

Please note that PriceLabs prices will be pushed for rate plans with 'Normal Price' in the Price per guest configuration list. Prices for other guest counts will be derived according to the values set or will remain the same if 0 is mentioned.
