How does sync work in PriceLabs

How often are my rates synced to my PMS, and how does "Sync Now" work

How often are my rates synced to my PMS or Booking Channel? 

By default, we sync rates once every night between 6PM and 6AM Chicago time or between 23:00/0:00 and 12:00/13:00 UTC (depending on daylight savings/summer time).

If you just added a listing and want to sync sooner instead of waiting overnight (or you missed the start time of our nightly cycle), then please click on "Review Prices" to see the listing calendar and then click on "Sync Now"

Sync now works with 99.97% reliability - there are times when due to some connectivity issues with the PMS multiple attempts are needed, which might make a sync take longer. You can refresh your page after clicking "Sync Now!" to see the time update in the "Last Synced" column on the dashboard, or to the right of the calendar view. 


Group and Account-level Sync 

If you have many listings then clicking Sync Now for each listing one by one might be pretty time consuming. In such cases, we highly recommend using the account/PMS-level Sync (or group-level Sync if you have different groups created), you can find this on the Customization page (Click Dynamic Pricing from the top and select Customizations). Then, click on the three dots on the right-most side, and then click Sync now as seen in the screenshot below - 



Scheduling when your listings get price update (Timed Sync)

We now also support two new capabilities that you should see in your Account > Settings tab!
  1. Scheduling a price sync at a time of your choice [Free with Dynamic Pricing subscription]
  2. Scheduling more than one daily sync [Additional cost: $1/listing/month for each additional sync]
