How Often Are Rates Synced & How to Sync Listings?

When you import your listings into PriceLabs, you have time to set them up and adjust settings before syncing. The prices you see in PriceLabs will not automatically apply to your listings until you enable syncing.

This article covers how to start syncing and other key details you need to know.

When Will My Listings Start to Sync?

Your prices in PriceLabs will only be pushed to your OTA/PMS once you switch on the Enable Price Sync toggle.


Note:

  • If this toggle is off, your OTA/PMS prices will remain unchanged.
  • Turn this toggle on only after you’ve finished setting up your listings and reviewing your prices.

How Often Are My Rates Synced?

Automatic Sync

Once the Enable Price Sync toggle is turned on, PriceLabs syncs rates once per night:

  • 23:00/0:00 – 12:00/13:00 GMT (depending on daylight savings time)

Manually Syncing Prices

If you just added a listing and want to sync immediately instead of waiting overnight:

  1. Click "Review Prices" to open the listing calendar.
  2. Click "Sync Now" to push updates immediately.
Note:
  1. Manual Sync only workings if the Sync Price toggle must be ON.
  2. This can also be done in bulk following Bulk Refresh and Sync.
NotesNote: Both the default overnight sync and the Specify Your Own Sync Time option run once every 24 hours; only the timing changes, not the frequency. A gap of up to 23 hours between syncs on your dashboard is completely normal, as your listing waits for its next scheduled daily queue. If you need rates pushed multiple times per day, you'll need to subscribe to the paid Additional Sync or Real-Time Sync add-ons.

Additional Sync Options

PriceLabs offers additional options to schedule syncs at specific times. You can find these under Account > Settings:

Timed Sync (Scheduling When Listings Get Price Updates)

  1. Specify Your Own Sync Time
    1. This allows you to specify what time you want your daily sync to happen.
  2. Additional Sync
    1. This allows you to schedule additional automatic daily sync
    2. Additional cost: $1/listing/month

    Real-Time Sync (For Hotels)

    1. Real-Time Sync is a paid add-on feature that allows PriceLabs to sync whenever booking webhooks are received. 
    2. This enables up to 24 automatic syncs per day for supported PMS connections.
    3. Additional cost: USD 2 per unit/month

    Sync Now Reliability:

    • Sync Now works 99.97% of the time.
    • If there are temporary connectivity issues with your PMS, multiple attempts may be required, causing slight delays.
    • Refresh your page after clicking Sync Now to check the Last Synced time on the dashboard or below the Sync Now button on the calendar view.

    Bulk Refresh and Sync

    If you manage many listings, syncing each one individually can be time-consuming. Instead, use:

    1. Account-Level Sync – Sync all listings in your PMS account at once.
    2. Group-Level Sync – Sync only a specific group of listings.

    How to Use Account/Group-Level Sync

    1. Navigate to Dynamic Pricing > Customizations.
    2. Click the three dots on the right-most side.
    3. Click Refresh Listings in Account (or Group) and "Sync Now" to sync all listings in the selected group/account.
