How to Integrate PriceLabs with Hostaway

PriceLabs can send daily rates, minimum stay requirements, and check-in/check-in restrictions to Hostaway for up to 540 days in advance.

Before You Start

Before proceeding with the integration, keep the following in mind:

  1. If a reservation already exists on a specific day, check-in and check-out restrictions cannot be changed in PriceLabs or Hostaway due to system limitations. To avoid issues, update restrictions before bookings are made.

Step 1: Prepare Your Hostaway Account

  1. Log in to your Hostaway account.
  2. Set Initial Prices
    1. Navigate to Dynamic Pricing
    2. Select the listing and click on the pencil under the Edit column
    3. Select Manual base price and enter an amount on the Base Price field, then click Save.

  3. Navigate to Settings → Hostaway API then click the "Create" button



  4. On the Create public API secret key pop-up window:
    1. Enter a name for your API
    2. Choose PriceLabs from the Partner dropdown



  5. A pop-up window will appear displaying your Account ID and the API Key. Copy these to use in PriceLabs.



Step 2: Connecting Hostaway to PriceLabs

  1. Log into PriceLabs.
  2. Click "Add your listings" (if you have no listings) or "Add/Reconnect Listings" (if you already have listings).
  3. Select "PMS / Channel Manager" and choose Hostaway from the dropdown.
  4. Enter your Account ID and the API Key on their respective fields
    1. [Optional] Tick the box to "Import Hostaway Tags" if you want to import Hostaway tags for your listings into PriceLabs 



  5. Click Connect
  6. Once connected, your Hostaway listings will appear in your PriceLabs dashboard

Step 3: Reviewing & Syncing Prices

  1. Follow the Getting Started guide to set up your listings.
  2. Review your pricing and settings in PriceLabs.
  3. Enable Sync Prices for automatic updates, or click "Sync Now" to push updates immediately.
  4. Check your Hostaway account to verify updates
    1. Your PriceLabs rates and minimum stay requirements will appear on the Hostaway Calendar under the Monthly view as shown below.
    2. To reflect the minimum stay requirements, make sure to add "Minimum Stay" to the Show section



Updating Your Hostaway Listings

To update listing information in PriceLabs, make changes in Hostaway first, then reconnect your account for the updates to take effect. This applies to changes such as the listing name, address, or number of bedrooms.

If you add new listings in Hostaway, you must reconnect your account in PriceLabs:

  1. Click "Add/Reconnect Your Listings" in PriceLabs.
  2. Select "Reconnect Existing Account" to refresh the connection without re-entering your API key.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Booking.com Monthly View When Connected Through Hostaway

When a Booking.com listing is connected to any API partner—including RMS or PMS platforms—the monthly calendar view in Booking.com becomes unavailable. Users will only be able to access the list view and yearly view of the calendar. This is expected behavior on Booking.com’s side and applies universally to listings integrated via API. More details here.
