The Pricing Offset customization allows users to apply a Fixed or Percent price adjustment on the Recommended Price after all other customizations have been applied. This feature is especially useful for ensuring comparable pricing across different channels or increasing prices on specific platforms to account for extra fees.
Before You Start
Available to all users in PriceLabs.
This customization applies after all other pricing adjustments, including Fixed Price Overrides and Orphan Discounts.
This is also applied after the minimum and maximum price so:
if your offset is a discount, it may make your price go below your minimum price.
if your offset is a premium, it may make your price go higher your maximum price.
For PMS users: The final adjusted price will be pushed to the PMS, which will then distribute it to all connected channels—verify before enabling this setting.
Benefits of Pricing Offset
Adjusts final prices above or below the recommended price by a fixed amount or percentage.
Helps maintain price parity across different listing platforms.
Allows users to increase prices for specific channels to cover additional fees or commissions.
Works even for unmapped listings, providing flexibility in pricing strategy.
Options for Pricing Offsets
Fixed Offset: Adds or subtracts a set amount from the Recommended Price.
Biggest discount that can be applied is 40.
Biggest premiums is 500.
Percent Offset: Increases or decreases the Recommended Price by a percentage.
On the Account Tab, click Editacross the desired channel (e.g., Airbnb).
Select All Customization and click the Pricing Offset.
Select Fixed or Percent as the offset type.
Turn on the toggle switch and enter the desired offset value (e.g., 10% higher for Airbnb compared to VRBO).
Click Save Changes.
If all other pricing settings remain identical between Airbnb and VRBO, the system will maintain parity, but the rates sent to Airbnb will be exactly 10% higher than those sent to VRBO.
For Unmapped Listings
On the Pricing Dashboard, click Review Prices on the desired listing, then click Edit under Customizations.
Navigate to All Customizations → Pricing Offsets.
Follow the same steps as above to apply a Fixed or Percent offset.
Additional Notes
Pricing Offset applies on top of all other customizations, which means the adjusted Recommended Price could exceed the Maximum Price or fall below the Minimum Price.
PMS Users Caution: If using a PMS connected to multiple channels, the offset-adjusted price will be pushed to the PMS and then distributed to all linked channels, potentially causing unintended price changes.
