How Metrics In Portfolio Analytics are Calculated Depending Selection Scenario
For portfolios with Combined or Mapped listings, calculations may differ depending on the filters selected. The tables below show how metrics are calculated and which listing data is included in each scenario.
Mapped Listings
Parent and all children selected
Only the Parent listing is shown, child listings are hidden
Reservation data from all selected child listings is aggregated into the parent listing
Any other combination of listings
All selected listings are shown independently
Any other combination of listings within the same PMS
All selected listings are shown independently
Combined Listings
Combined listing is hidden, sub-listings are shown
Combined listing's reservations are split and distributed into their respective sub-listings
Combined listing and some sub-listings selected
Combined listing is hidden; only selected sub-listings are shown
Combined listing's reservations are split and distributed only into the selected sub-listings
Only combined listing selected
Combined listing is shown, sub-listings are hidden
No split occurs. Metrics remain aggregated entirely on the combined listing
Only sub-listings selected
Selected sub-listings are shown
No data from the combined listing is distributed to the sub-listings
