Creating a Demo Listing

If you're exploring PriceLabs for the first time, you may not be ready to import all of your listings just yet. Whether you're evaluating the platform or simply want to understand how pricing works in a specific market, you can create a demo listing to experience PriceLabs without connecting a PMS or OTA.

A demo listing lets you simulate a property in any supported location so you can explore demand trends, pricing recommendations, seasonality, and other market factors in real time—all without affecting your live listings.

Before You Start

  1. No PMS or OTA Required: Demo listings can be created without connecting any booking platform or property management system.
  2. Simulation Only: Demo listings are for exploration and testing purposes only. They are not connected to any real listing and cannot sync prices to booking channels.
  3. Minimal Setup: You only need to provide a few basic details. PriceLabs automatically generates the remaining listing information.

How to Create a Demo Listing

  1. Log in to your PriceLabs account.
  2. From the Welcome Page or Pricing Dashboard, click the arrow down beside "Add your listings" (if you have no listings) or "Add/Re-Import Listings" (if you already have listings).
  3. Select Create Demo Listing.

  4. You can either manually enter the details or add your Airbnb Listing ID:
    1. To manually add your details:
      1. Select Enter Details Manually and fill in the required information:
        • Location
        • Base Price
        • Currency
        • Number of Bedrooms
        • Number of Units
      2. Click Continue
      3. If the location pinned is correct. click Create.

    2. To add Airbnb Listing ID:
      1. Select Import Using Airbnb Listing ID.
      2. Copy your listing ID from Airbnb and paste in on the window. Then, click Get Details.
      3. Check the address. If correct, click Continue. If not, you can edit first, then click Continue.
      4. If the location pinned is correct. click Create.

Once created, your demo listing will appear on the Pricing Dashboard, where you can explore PriceLabs recommendations, market demand, seasonality, and pricing trends just as you would with a connected listing.
